Poor Butterfly has been in development since the year 2000, when the first few characters were dreamt up and sketched out in a couple of short stories by Sarah McMenomy. However, said stories sat on her hard-drive for years, mildewing (but steadily gathering notes, ideas, and under-imagined doodles), while she went through school and did other things with her life. Always, though, the story sat simmering in the back of her brain, begging to be a web-comic. Finally, with help, inspiration, and a great deal of plot outlining and storywriting help from her brother, David McMenomy, she got her act together and started to actually draw up the danged thing. And here it is!
